It follows directly from Al-Fīl: because Allah destroyed the elephant army and kept Makkah safe, the tribe of Quraysh enjoyed security and honour.
That safety let them run two great trade caravans each year — to Yemen in winter and to Syria in summer — the source of their wealth and status.
The surah reminds them that these very blessings should lead them to worship the Lord of the Ka'bah, not idols.
“For the security of Quraysh — their security in the journeys of winter and summer” — naming the blessing they took for granted.
“Let them worship the Lord of this House” — the right response to safety and provision is to worship the One who gave them.
“…who fed them against hunger and made them safe from fear” — He met their two deepest needs: food and security.
